Terms of Use.

These are the terms for using thyfwxit.com, including the games on the homepage and the Nexus AI Terminal at /nexus/. The Nexus terminal has its own expanded terms covering AI specific behavior; this document is the umbrella.

Plain English. If something is ambiguous, the spirit of the rule wins over the exact wording. If you really need the exact wording, email me.

Who I am

Xavier Scott, sole operator. Contact: xavier@thyfwxit.com. No company, no team. These terms are between you (the visitor/user) and me.

What this site offers

• Free portfolio. Browse, play the three games, read the blog, use the contact form. No account required, no payment.
• Free Nexus AI Terminal. Use the AI chat, the games, the tools, the speed test, the typing test. Sign in with Google or continue as a guest. Some features (image generation quotas) have rate limits.
• Hardware repair services. Paid, separate engagement. Each repair is its own scope/quote/agreement. Nothing in this document covers paid repair work directly.

Acceptable use

Use the site like a normal person would. Do not:

• Attempt to attack, break into, denial of service, or scrape the site at unreasonable rates.
• Try to extract or reverse my Cloudflare Worker secrets, AI provider keys, or any other credential. There aren't any in the public source by design, but if you accidentally find one, email me, do not exploit it.
• Use Nexus to generate content that violates the law in your jurisdiction or violates the providers' policies (Groq, Google Gemini, Replicate, etc.).
• Submit other people's personal information through the contact form without their permission.
• Attempt to impersonate me, my projects, or any other user.

No warranty

Everything on this site (portfolio, games, Nexus AI, blog content, infrastructure related advice) is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. I do my best to keep things working and accurate, but I make no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

The blog and FAQ contain my opinions and lessons from my own experience. They are not professional advice (medical, legal, financial, electrical, repair, or otherwise) for your specific situation. If you act on something you read here, you are responsible for confirming it applies to you.

The Nexus AI Terminal generates output using third party AI models. AI output can be wrong, biased, or made up. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions. See the Nexus terms for the full AI disclaimer.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, I am not liable for any damages, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise, arising out of your use of this site. If you find that unreasonable, do not use the site.

Intellectual property

The original site code, blog posts, and design are mine (Xavier Scott / THYFWX). The source code for the portfolio and Nexus terminal is publicly viewable on GitHub at github.com/Thyfwx for educational/reference purposes. Repository licenses (if any) live in each repo. Don't copy a blog post wholesale onto your own site without attribution and a link back.

Third party trademarks, logos, and product names mentioned (Cloudflare, Proxmox, Apple, Google, etc.) belong to their respective owners. Mention does not imply endorsement.

Changes to the site

I can change, remove, or replace anything on this site at any time without notice. I aim to give notice for material changes in the changelog when they affect Nexus users, but the portfolio root is more freely iterated on.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, I update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. The history is in the public git log. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Jurisdiction

I am based in the United States. These terms are governed by U.S. law. Any dispute will be resolved in U.S. courts to the extent permissible.
