Nexus Invaders is a free, browser-based Space Invaders rebuild built from scratch for the Nexus AI Terminal. Pixel-art alien sprites in four types, six rotating wave formations, starfield backgrounds that change per wave, and entrance animations on every enemy.
Power-up drops when you kill enemies: Rapid Fire, Spread Shot, Shield, Score x2, Pulse. Grab the same power-up twice during a run to make it permanent for the rest of the game. Mini-bosses appear every three waves; full boss fights every nine waves with health bars and aimed shots.
Mouse moves your ship, click or tap to shoot. Submit your high score to the Nexus leaderboard once you sign in with Google.
